Standards Alignment

The Choctaw Code Talkers 1918 Curriculum is a standards-aligned, immersive humanities unit for grades 9–12, developed in collaboration with Indigenous knowledge keepers, educators, and scholars. It connects U.S. history, civics, geography, and ELA through the story of the Choctaw soldiers whose language helped turn the tide of World War I.
